Gaelic games in North America, with the mix of native Irish born players and the new breed of young American players make for a great playing and club experience for anyone looking to play Football in the US. We at the Shannon Blues Club are amongst the top GAA clubs in North America with a club spirit which embraces new players, whether they are playing for one season or planning to make Boston home for a few years.
This club spirit has helped us become the North American Champions for 2004 and helped us win many other titles through the years.
We offer competitive games played at our shared top class facility (ICC Canton) with top class coaching as well as some craic. (Yes we have plenty of that in Boston).

Boston Information.
Boston is one of America’s oldest cities and the one which is regarded as the most like a European city. Easy to get around, the commercial districts are about the same size as Dublin and it also boasts the oldest subway system in America which makes it easy to get in and out of. Rich in American history, it features many links back to the days of the Revolution. It is also regarded as the most Irish city outside of Ireland. There are many Irish bars and restaurants which are very popular with all nationalities. Boston also boasts a number of very well respected Colleges and Universities, Harvard, MIT, Boston College to name a few. Finally Aer Lingus flies directly into Logan Airport just 10 minutes from downtown Boston.
If you are coming from Ireland this is a place you wont get lost in and you will enjoy it immensely.
